About Us
Together for True Social Change

DOING GOOD operates with a deep commitment to strengthening civil society in Israel, recognizing that a vibrant, resilient society is essential for building a just, prosperous future.
Following the events of October 7, it became clearer than ever that Israel’s strength lies in its solidarity, mutual responsibility, and the rapid mobilization of social organizations and engaged citizens.

We believe that NGOs and civil society organizations are the driving force behind true social change. Our mission is to provide them — and the partners who support them — with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive.

Doing Good offers strategic guidance, data-driven social program development, and expertise in resource mobilization and financial sustainability. Our goal is not only to help organizations survive, but to empower them to grow, innovate, and create a lasting impact.

For international donors seeking to make a meaningful difference in Israel, Doing Good serves as a trusted partner — identifying the most impactful organizations and programs, ensuring transparency and accountability, and maximizing the social return on your investment.

We believe that strong, focused organizations, supported by committed partners, are key to building a stable, thriving civil society capable of addressing Israel’s evolving challenges and opportunities.

We also strive to serve as a bridge between global partners and Israeli NGOs, helping channel support where it is needed most and creating shared value and sustainable impact.

Doing Good is dedicated to providing advanced tools and services that build economic resilience and ensure stable, long-term organizational development.

Our values

Lior Shmueli
Leading change, creating the future

Lior Shmueli, Founder and CEO, has extensive experience, having initiated and established dozens of programs with significant social impact, raising hundreds of millions of shekels for civil society organizations.

He holds a BA in Economics and Sociology and an MA in Non-Profit Management and Welfare Policy. He managed the emissary department for the Jewish Agency’s summer camps and was part of the founding team of the “Masa” project.

As CEO of “Larger Than Life,” he significantly contributed to developing a leading Israeli and international organization providing medical, rehabilitative, and educational support to sick children and their families. Among his achievements are the establishment of the “Dream Kindergartens” network – sterile educational rehabilitation centers, the first of their kind in the world for children with cancer, and the creation of a health fund for children covering tests, medications, and treatments outside the health basket.

In 2021, he joined the management of Birthright Israel as VP of Development, Resource Mobilization, and International Community Relations, responsible for international partnerships and resource development.

Following the events of October 7 and the mobilization of civil society organizations to rehabilitate soldiers and affected communities, he decided to focus on strategic consulting for the development and growth of social organizations. He continues to contribute his vast experience in management, social initiatives, and resource development, actively participating in projects promoting community welfare across Israel.
